His proficiency lies in navigating complex mergers & acquisitions and spearheading innovative product ventures. Dr. Mukesh Bhardwaj
Production & Operation Head

Dr. Mukesh Bhardwaj brings over 25 years of expertise in Ayurveda and personal care products. Combining his M.D. in Dravyaguna Vigyan (Ayurveda specialization) with a background in Botany, Dr. Bhardwaj has become a leader in the field. He excels in Quality Control, Research & Development, and Operations Management, making him a valuable asset to our team. Throughout his timeline, his contributions have been evident to us. His leadership in product development has resulted in successful Patanjali brand creations like Dant Kanti toothpaste, Drishti eye drops, and various herbal washes, shampoos, and supplements. Furthermore, his presence has coincided with prestigious company achievements, including the India Hemp Award 2024 and the AyushShala International Conclave Excellence Award for the most promising Ayurveda product of 2023.

Dr. Swathi Ramamurthy
R & D Head

Dr Swati Ramamurthy is a highly accomplished R&D leader with a unique blend of expertise in both Ayurveda product development and clinical practice. She brings over 6 years of experience in formulation development and a distinguished 9 years in clinical practice. As an MD in Ayurveda, she began her career as a formulation scientist, then moved to CARI (Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Ministry of Ayush), managing key research projects, including Tribal Healthcare. She has also made significant contribution to the 3 Covid research projects of national importance. Moreover, Dr. Ramamurthy secured the 7th rank in her state for her MD and has published over 12 research articles. Since joining HCPL in Dec 2021, she has led the development of over 75 successful proprietary formulations. Her expertise is in the research and development of nutraceuticals, clinical nutrition, and herbals. However, in recent years, there has been a shift towards holistic nutrition and Dr. Ramamurthy has become involved in this field.

Dr. Arpitha Rao
BAMS, MD (Ayurveda)

Dr. Arpitha Rao is a skilled Ayurvedic doctor with over 5 years of experience. Her background includes a BAMS degree and a specialized MD in Ayurveda with a focus on Dravyaguna (plant pharmacology and phytochemistry). Throughout her experience, she has formulated over 50 effective remedies to promote overall well-being. This unique background allows her to create powerful herbal formulations to address a wide range of health concerns. Dr. Rao is an expert in managing various conditions using Ayurvedic principles, including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, gynaecological issues, skin problems, musculoskeletal and respiratory problems.

With a vigilant eye for quality honed over 24 years, Mr. Balendra Pratap Singh is a pillar of our Quality Assurance (QA) team. His extensive experience spans across Ayurveda, nutraceuticals, and personal care products, ensuring every product we deliver meets the highest standards. He has held extensive experience in different companies, such as Giva Ayurveda and Surya Herbal. Mr. Singh oversees the entire quality journey, from meticulous manufacturing processes to final dispatch. His in-depth understanding of regulatory affairs, coupled with his expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, ensures the safety and efficacy of every product we create.
